Football
Looking to claim a three-game winning streak for the first time since 2022, Baylor football will host its first “blackout” since 2016 while celebrating the 2013 and 2014 Big 12 Championship before a rivalry game against TCU at 7 p.m. Saturday at McLane Stadium.
The 38-28 victory marked the Bears’ first Big 12 home win since Oct. 22, 2022.

As the track and field indoor season winds down, Baylor prepares to send some of its best athletes to the NCAA Indoor National Championship. In this group, two freshmen have been making a large impact on the team: pole vaulters Alencia Lentz and Molly Haywood.
“I am looking forward to the outdoor season with both teams, which starts this upcoming weekend, and I am excited for the NCAA indoor selections this week,” Ford said.

No. 17 Baylor Volleyball added another game to the win column with a 3-0 sweep against Colorado Friday night in the Ferrell Center, 26-24, 25-16, 25-20. Senior outside hitter Elise McGhee continued her dominant hitting streak, tallying 24 kills in only three sets.
Graduate transfer setter Jackie Barrett Frazier led the team to a convincing win with 23 assists, 16 digs and 10 kills — the first triple-double by a Baylor Bear since 2009.

Tennis
Baylor men’s tennis has been known to feature funny, energetic and emotional players who light up the court with excitement. Seniors Oskar Brostrom Poulsen and Marko Miladinović are no different.

Missi was tabbed as the 22nd overall pick in ESPN’s Mock Draft on April 17, while Walter was projected in the lottery at No. 12. Fraschilla said they’re both “prototype NBA players once they physically mature in the next two, three, four [or] five years.”
In the 2023 season, Major League Baseball officials added the pitch clock to aid the speed of the game. After the season and now into 2024, I’ve seen that the pitch clock has been very useful and has accelerated the pace of the game.
