Students can expand their horizons during Gateway to India and partake in the 17th annual Culture Show and Taste of India. The event, presented by the Indian Subcontinent Student Association and the Department of Student Activities, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in Waco Hall.
Fans hoping to see Baylor women’s basketball carve its path to the 2011 final four can see the Lady Bears play No. 16 seed Prairie View A&M at 6:40 p.m. Sunday at the Ferrell Center. Students can buy tickets for Sunday as well as Tuesday’s second-round game for $15 each.

Texas voters turned out in historic numbers Tuesday, delivering victories for State Rep. James Talarico and forcing a runoff between Attorney General Ken Paxton and incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the state’s U.S. Senate contest that claimed national attention. The total early-voting turnout of more than 2.5 million marks the highest ever for a midterm primary election. The results also kicked off the 2026 midterm cycle.
