No. 21 Baylor volleyball is still in search of its first ranked win of the season after dropping a marquee matchup at home.
The Bears sent a message with their 55-19 dismantling of Arizona State: When Baylor’s offense clicks, it can overwhelm opponents. Baylor still has lots to prove only five games into the season, but the Bears should be taken seriously.
Head coach Dave Aranda said earlier in the week that Baylor need more explosive plays. The Bears took that to heart as they exploded for a 55-19 statement win over Arizona State.

President Donald Trump has approved the execution by firing squad of Nidal Hasan, the former Army major convicted of killing 13 people in the 2009 Fort Hood mass shooting, with the execution scheduled for 1 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Central Texas military installation, roughly an hour from Baylor’s campus.
