With circus-level catches and YACs to the max, Trigg might be one of the best and most unique tight ends in the nation.
The Bears came back from a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter to win their first Power Four home game of the season. Senior tight end Michael Trigg led the way with eight catches for 155 yards.
Excluding Baylor’s 2021 Big 12 Championship run, when the team went 6-0 at home against Big 12 teams, the Bears are 7-14 against Power Four schools at McLane Stadium under head coach Dave Aranda. With Saturday’s win over the Wildcats, the Bears are now 2-6 at home in games decided by one score since 2022.

The “Tribute to Fallen Heroes,” which took place at 3 p.m. today, served as a time of remembrance of the Sept. 11th attacks and of soldiers who have laid their lives down in the line of duty, as well as a celebration of those who still serve and who have served. The Lost Heroes Art Quilt, which had been displayed in Moody Library was also featured at the event.
On Sunday, the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11, communities and people of all faiths across the country will gather to remember and reflect on the terrorist attacks that forever shaped history.
The worst recorded wildfire season in Texas reached into the homes of several Baylor students over the course of the Labor Day weekend.
Aramark presented a check for $3,000 to the Campus Kitchen Community Garden on Wednesday morning. The completely organic and self-sustainable garden is used to grow produce to donate to programs that feed the needy.

“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”

Texas voters turned out in historic numbers Tuesday, delivering victories for State Rep. James Talarico and forcing a runoff between Attorney General Ken Paxton and incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the state’s U.S. Senate contest that claimed national attention. The total early-voting turnout of more than 2.5 million marks the highest ever for a midterm primary election. The results also kicked off the 2026 midterm cycle.
