Upon Kokernot Hall’s anticipated completion this July, the university will finish the plans it set back in 2013. With part of the construction budget now freed up for other projects, it opens up the question of what’s coming next for projects across campus. While there is no confirmed plan for a similarly connected string of renovations, Vice President for Student Life Dr. Sharra Hynes alluded to future projects in a September interview.

As students continue to search for housing, it is important to note that not all generationally passed down houses are a cheaper option. Costs will vary based on location, upkeep and chapter expectations.

Amid a local news drought and shifting expectations in journalism, The Texas Tribune is bringing its answer to Waco.
“The evidence of a sexual relationship was/is present from 2007-2012 in emails, text messages, and corroborated by repeated predatory behaviors by Anthony Odiong that have appeared amongst nearly every survivor identified (10 thus far) to date,” DeLange said.
According to a press release issued by Cierra Shipley, a spokesperson for Waco PD, Odiong was arrested on July 16 by the Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force. The arrest stemmed from a charge of possession of child pornography.
“People that have been climbing for years can come and be able to learn from one another,” Robb said. “Also, we have a different set of programming than what’s available currently on campus.”

“Parents have a significant impact on the value system and the ideological system that children develop over time. We’re all impacted by the messages that we hear growing up in our parents’ home,” McAninch said.
Ramsey is a sophomore from Waco studying economics and international studies in Arabic. Ramsey went to Amman, Jordan, with Qasid, an Arabic Institute Program running from June through August. But she didn’t suspect the challenges and conflicts that would occur in the coming days.
