Dr. Ashley K. Barrett from the communication department said that AI can be used in “a beneficial way and ethical way, or can be a tool that we use more in a non-virtuous way,” but that Baylor has the ability to “figure out what that means and how that manifests at a Christian-based university.”
As the church transitions, so too does the community around it. By summer 2028, Baylor will gain new off-campus housing for hundreds of students as Parallel and Deven Group lead a group of development companies on construction of the building.
The renovation will include an aesthetic touch-up to Morrison Hall and aims to increase the first floor’s classroom capacity and better accommodate the Baylor community with additional seating, improved floor planning and a new graduate common area.
Baylor students explored dozens of on-and off-campus employment opportunities at the Career Center’s part-time job fair, where employers recruited students looking to build their resumes and gain practical experience.
