Kalena Reynolds is an MBA student who grew up in Texas and Arizona. In her fourth year at the Lariat, she is excited to continue her love of writing and storytelling. Aside from writing, Kalena also has a deep love for music, songwriting, matcha, art history and film. After graduation, she plans to go into the music industry.

There were good parts of Line Camp, such as the friends I made and the knowledge I left with. It also helped familiarize me with the campus and nearby areas. However, between the emotional rollercoaster and the sleep deprivation, it was overbearing and a bit peculiar at times.

The stained glass that hung in an Austin synagogue before being damaged in an arson attack has been repurposed into an ethereal lamp. Titled “ner tamid,” which is Hebrew for eternal light, the piece was created by Waco stained glass artist Bryant Stanton and his team.
