Banana Ball is making its way to McLane Stadium May 7-8 as part of the 2027 Banana Ball World Tour.

The matchup will feature the Texas Tailgaters and Party Animals to bring one of the most popular entertainment experiences in sports to Waco.

“Banana Ball has set the standard as one of the most engaging fan experiences in sports, and few organizations put fans first better than they do,” Athletic Director Doug McNamee said. “Bringing that experience to McLane Stadium is intentional as we aspire to serve our fans – creating memorable moments that extend beyond football and bring Baylor and Central Texas together.”

The games will be the first time 12-year-old McLane Stadium hosts baseball, bringing a new opportunity to bring Waco and the Central Texas region together.

“Hosting the first baseball game in McLane Stadium history is going to be fun, and we are so excited to welcome fans for two unforgettable nights in Waco.”

It adds to the list of non-football events appearing at McLane, including Topgolf’s Stadium Series event at the end of October and The Boys from Oklahoma concert back in August 2025.

What separates Banana Ball from traditional baseball and other professional sports is its 11 unique rules designed to keep the action non-stop and the crowd on their feet from the first pitch to the last out. It also showcases trick plays, dancing, singing and more to add more entertainment beyond baseball.

“Banana Ball is not just a baseball game; it’s an experience that captivates and brings together an entire community,” said Jason Cook, Baylor’s vice president for marketing and communications.

Since the Savannah Bananas exploded in 2020, they have expanded to six teams to form the Banana Ball Championship League. Banana Ball has not slowed down, selling 3.4 million tickets in 2026.

Banana Ball’s standard tickets start at $35, with Meet and Greet tickets starting at $125.

Fans are encouraged to join the Ticket Lottery List at BananaBall.com for a chance to purchase tickets. The Ticket Lottery is open now and will close on Oct. 31, 2026, at 10:59 p.m. CT, before a random drawing that will determine purchase opportunities.
