The OALA shuttle program will now be reinstated after its suspension received backlash from the Baylor community.

Baylor said the President’s Council reviewed the situation and decided the shuttle will be reinstituted as it was previously.

“OALA will begin contacting the most-impacted students and will discuss accommodations,” the Baylor statement said. “The shuttle program will begin to operate at full capacity as soon as operational arrangements can be made.”

One of the ways the Baylor community responded was through a petition. After three days, over 2,500 members of the Baylor community have signed it.

“Moving forward, the University will further evaluate the program to determine more efficient and effective ways to provide shuttle service for students with disabilities in the future,” the statement said.
