    Waco Community Band: “The Waco Community Band consists of professional and amateur musicians from throughout Central Texas and is sponsored by McLennan Community College.“ Free | 7:30 p.m. at McLennan Community College’s Ball Performing Arts Center, 1400 College Drive

    Bella Voce with Men’s Choir: “Baylor’s chamber choir of female voices performs with the Men’s Choir in preparation for the American Choral Directors Association’s Southwest Division Conference in Oklahoma City.” Free | 7:30 p.m. in Jones Concert Hall

    Sam Houston the Texas Legend: A 225th Birthday Celebration: “Celebrate Sam Houston’s 225th birthday and Texas Independence Day at the Mayborn Museum. History enthusiast and native Texan, Clifton Robinson, will educate and entertain us with stories of the first Republic of Texas.” Included with admission, free for members and Baylor students | 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. at the Mayborn Museum, 1300 S University Parks Dr.

    Stars Over Texas Jamboree: “A monthly family style musical jamboree. Country, oldies, gospel and bluegrass music are featured. This Thursday March 1st Danny Ragland as Willie Nelson will join us for our Legends of Country show at the Lee Lockwood Library and Museum.” $14 general admission | 7:00- 10:00 p.m. at the Lee Lockwood Library and Museum, 2801 W Waco Dr.

    Wind Ensemble: “Director of Bands J. Eric Wilson will conduct the Baylor University Wind Ensemble in preparation for their upcoming concert at the American Bandmasters Association National Convention in Fort Worth.” Free | 7:30 p.m. in Jones Concert Hall
