    Cowboys, Cattle & Culture of the Chisholm Trails

    Location: Mayborn Museum | Time: 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. | Cost: Free

    Listen to speaker Doug Harman share about the culture of cowboys who herded cattle along the Chisholm trails.

    Wednesday, Oct. 18

    Crowder performs

    Location: McLane Stadium, Parking Lot C | Time: 7 p.m. | Cost: Free

    David Crowder, contemporary Christian artist, will be performing at McLane Stadium in Parking Lot C during his American Prodigal Tour and as part of Franklin Graham’s event for free.

    Thursday, Oct. 19

    Baylor Homecoming 2017: Carillon Recital

    Location: Pat Neff Hall Tower | Time: 12:15 – 1:15 p.m. | Cost: Free

    To start off Baylor Homecoming 2017, bring lawn chairs and throw blankets in front of Pat Neff Hall as university Carillonneur Lynnette Gerary performs during her Carillon Recital.

    “The Front Row of Fashion” show

    Location: 401 S. 3rd St. | Time: 6:30 p.m. | Cost: $25 – $60

    Haute Couture meets Downtown Waco during “The Front Row of Fashion” show that will be bringing up-and-incoming designers, aspiring models and special guests together in one space.

    Live Music at Dichotomy Coffee & Spirits

    Location: Dichotomy Coffee & Spirits | Time: 7 p.m. | Cost: Free

    Amy Hopper will be joining the live music scene at Dichotomy.

    Pigskin Revue

    Location: Waco Hall | Time: 7 p.m. | Cost: Tickets are extremely

    The top performances from All-University Sing will be performing Pigskin Revue, which has been a part of Baylor homecoming celebrations from 1958.Tickets are limited.

    Kris Kristofferson

    Location: Waco Hippodrome | Time: 7 – 9 p.m. | Cost: $40 – $80

    American country singer and songwriter Kris Kristofferson will be performing solo at the Waco Hippodrome. Kristofferson will be continuing his longstanding career as a solo artist with locals and Baylor students.

    Open Mic at Tea2Go

    Location: 820 S. 7th St. | Time: 7:15 p.m. | Cost: Free

    Every third Thursday night of the month, Tea2Go welcomes singers, poets and artists to share their talents with customers stopping by for a quick tea on the go.

    Mass Meeting

    Location: Ferrell Center | Time: 10 – 11:30 p.m. | Cost: Free

    During the Mass Meeting in the Ferrell Center, Baylor will honor the 10 Baylor students, the Immortal Ten, who died in a bus-train accident in 1927 in Round Rock.

    Ongoing

    Oct. 5 – Nov. 12 — Danville Chadbourne: Retrospective Part IV is open at the Martin Museum of Art for free until Nov. 12. This exhibit of small wooden figures will fill up the gallery.
