Baylor football head coach Matt Rhule is still getting questioned as to why he is playing so many freshmen in games.
Rhule said the nice thing about when kids are young is their ability to be taught and learn from their mistakes.
“You either learn from wisdom or experience,” Rhule said. “Most of us, when mom says, ‘Don’t do this,’ you do it anyway and you learn form your own experience.”
The team is gearing up to hit the road Friday morning to go up against Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla., and their motivations are stronger than ever to bring home a win.
“We have confidence, it’s just going out and executing. It’s all effort,” said sophomore wide receiver, Pooh Stricklin.
Oklahoma State is a very powerful team lead by head coach Mike Gundy, but Baylor is ready to take them on.
“I just want to come out to compete. It’s the best,” said sophomore corner back, Grayland Arnold. “It’s going to be a real competitive game.”
If you can’t make it out to Oklahoma for Saturday’s game, it will be broadcasted on Fox Sports 1 at 2:30 p.m. You can also follow the The Baylor Lariat on social media for game updates.
