Baylor volleyball dropped its final Big 12 matchup with a 3-0 decision to Iowa State Saturday afternoon to conclude its regular season.

The Bears (14-17, 4-12 Big 12) fell to the Cyclones in straight sets 26-24, 25-17, 25-15 in Ames, Iowa, after Baylor defeated Iowa States in five sets earlier this season at the Ferrell Center.

Three players finished the game with nine kills each for Baylor: junior outside hitter Andie Malloy, junior middle hitter Adrien Richburg and freshman outside hitter Katie Staiger. In the loss, Baylor hit .229 as a team and got major help from Richburg, who had a .571 attack effort.

Junior setter Amy Rosenbaum finished with 18 assists and seven digs in the three-set loss. Malloy led the back row with 11 digs, followed by sophomore setter Morgan Reed with eight. Senior libero Hope Ogden added six digs in her final game for Baylor.

In the loss, Baylor and Iowa State each had five team blocks to close out the regular season. Sophomore Tola Itiola led at the net with four blocks for Baylor. With the win, the Cyclones end in a tie for second place in conference play with a 10-6 Big 12 record.

The loss is the end of the road for seniors Jordan Teel, Nicole Bardaji, Hope Ogden and Tori Cox, but the Bears will return a majority of their lineup for a Big 12 run next season.
