The Baylor Bears lost 69-52 to the Wisconsin Badgers in the Sweet Sixteen round of the NCAA Tournament at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

The Bears fell in a hole early and the Badgers never looked back. The Bears faced a 29-16 deficit and half time. Baylor’s usual 1-3-1 zone defense was not as effective as normal with Wisconsin’s offensive execution.

Baylor’s leading scorer was senior Cory Jefferson with 15 points. Jefferson also added seven rebounds.

Two other Bears were in double figures with sophomore center Isaiah Austin and junior guard Kenny Chery both adding 12 points apiece.
