Baylor Men’s Basketball aren’t the only ones competing for a championship title. Vitek’s BBQ’s Gut Pak beat out University of Montana’s Cascade Country Store’s Breakfast Burrito. They will compete against Marquette University’s chili-topped spaghetti The Marquette in the final round.

Voting will open Thursday until Friday at 2 p.m. central time.

“With it being voting based, I feel completely honored we have this much support,” said Vitek’s BBQ owner Julie Keith. “It’s taken me and my staff to get the word out, but it’s people voting with the help of social media, with people tweeting and retweeting and sharing that helps get the word out, which is important for these types of contests.”

Keith said the next step is to continue voting for Vitek’s Thursday and Friday as they compete for the championship.

“We just have to get to word out,” Keith said. “There are still groups on campus that have no idea.”

She said a new link for voting will be posted when voting opens up for the final round.

“The important part is to get everyone to share and share with friends because standing in line to get vote by vote is not how you can win these things,” Keith said.

The Gut Pack beat the Breakfast Burrito with 7,284 votes. The Marquette beat the University of Kentucky’s Tolly Ho Burger with Cheddar Tots with 10,533 votes.
