Eastern Illinois University announced today that Dino Babers will be the Panthers’ new football head coach.
Baylor has seen mixed results under Babers, the assistant coach for wide receivers and the special teams coordinator.
Wide receivers Lanear Sampson and Terrance Williams have both had successful receiving seasons. Baylor’s special teams have averaged 33.03 net yards per punt, ranked 114th in the Football Bowl Subdivision, while their 8.63 yards in punt return ranked 56th.
