Before Walk for the Homeless, members of the homeless community received new shoes from Academy Sports & Outdoors. Following the shoe presentation, Baylor, MCC and Waco residents participated in the annual Walk for the Homeless which began at the Meyers Center and continued for a total distance of 1.4 miles over to the Church Under The Bridge service at the intersection of 5th Avenue and I-35.
