No. 4 seed Baylor women’s golf is set to tee off in the Big 12 Championship event on Thursday morning at the Clubs at Houston Oaks Country Club in Hockley. The Bears are looking for their second-ever Big 12 Championship.
Junior Rosie Belsham said there’s no doubt in her mind that the Bears “are 100% the best team in the Big 12.”
Baylor, led by Dossey, wound up running away with the overall win thanks to a team score of 2-under 558. Dossey took home a share of the individual title, his first-ever solo win of his career, as he carded a 2-under 138.
It wasn’t the result head coach Mike McGraw was looking for, but Baylor men’s golf battled with the University of Texas on its way to an eighth place finish on Wednesday at the Big 12 Match Play Championship.
