The No. 6 Lady Bears (27-3, 16-2) capped off their extraordinary 2015 season with a 75-65 win over Texas Tech (15-15, 5-13) on Monday at the Ferrell Center. Baylor looked to bounce back from last week, which saw the team’s first two losses of 2015 against Oklahoma and Iowa State.

The No. 3 Lady Bears secured the outright Big 12 title with a dominant 91-75 performance on Saturday against the TCU Horned Frogs at the Ferrell Center. Saturday’s game was one of four chances Baylor had to guarantee a non-tie for the Big 12 trophy.

Baylor was led by freshman forward Nina Davis, the youngest player in the starting lineup, in a back-and-forth, physical title game thriller that saw nine lead changes.

After an impressive night against Oklahoma State on Sunday, Mulkey said she likes the way the No. 7 Lady Bears (20-3, 10-1) rose in terms of confidence not just from her star players, but from her team as a whole in their past few games.
