Browsing: Louis Armstrong

In honor of Black History Month, the band is partnering with local public elementary schools, inviting around 1,700 students in order to educate them about jazz musicians and their backgrounds.

The smooth tunes of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald were revived and celebrated Sunday night at the Waco Swing Dance Society meeting as a multi-generational community gathered in the spirit of swing dancing.
