President Ken Starr has appointed his chief of staff, Dr. Karla Leeper, to lead the Office of Governmental Relations and Baylor Event Services.

Leeper currently serves as vice president for executive affairs and she said these new responsibilities will help bring the president’s office and government relations closer together.

A quilt commemorating soldiers who lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan following the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, will be on display today in the Allbritton Foyer of Moody Library.

Two candidates running to represent District 4 in the Waco City Council elections discussed economic development and education Monday in a forum hosted at the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce building.

Construction has been approved for a National Pan-Hellenic Council Garden that will offer recognition for the Greek organizations in the council and give them an opportunity to educate the Baylor community about their history.
