No. 1 Baylor acrobatics and tumbling started off the NCATA Championships in dominating fashion defeating No. 8 Limestone 279.670 to 246.725 Thursday night in Sioux Falls, S.D., at the Elmen Center.
No. 1 Baylor acrobatics and tumbling celebrated senior night, setting the NCTA attendance record and a 287.795 to 283.305 win over No. 2 Oregon Saturday at the Ferrell Center.
A former individual acrobatic gymnastic athlete and current brand sponsor, junior top Jordan Gruendler said she appreciates the Baylor acrobatics and tumbling team for giving her a squad to care for and helping bring new skills into the sport.
Baylor’s top-ranked acrobatics and tumbling team is set for its season-opening meet against Texas Lutheran on Saturday in the Memorial Gym in Seguin.
