Entrepreneurship may become the next big degree for students to pursue on college campuses.

Alex Wallace, who graduated from Baylor in 2008, has become a major businessman in the success of The Grounds Guys, a full-service commercial leading lawn care company.

Students in the Accelerated Ventures entrepreneurship course at Baylor were given the opportunity to start a real business and make real money. And some are already having success.

The John F. Baugh Center for Entrepreneurship’s undergraduate program at Baylor was ranked second nationally by the Princeton Review in September 2010, moving up two spots from its 2009 fourth place ranking. The University of Houston’s undergraduate program was the only one to rank higher than Baylor’s.
