St. Peter, a ministry of the Diocese of Austin, opened in 1999 and launched a $10 million campaign late last month to build a new 450-seat chapel. The facility will connect to the current student center on 9th Street and, along with the new chapel, will update the current church offices and add a new narthex.

College is a unique place. Only in college can deep feelings of accomplishment and independence be immediately accompanied by even deeper feelings of frustration and disappointment. And though thousands of undergraduates attend, it can also be a lonely place for several reasons.
