From endorsing candidates to encouraging voter participation, celebrities have become a part of American politics. While their platform can bring light to issues, their fame does not equal expertise. Celebrities can speak out, but the public should think for themselves.

I’ve always wondered what makes the line between a celebrity crush being cute and being strange. Regardless, I don’t think there should be a line at all. Celebrity crushes are healthy expressions that should be celebrated, not shunned.
