After a difficult week that included being swept by SMU and a less-than-perfect win over LSU, huge offensive performances from junior opposite hitter Allie Sczech and senior outside hitter Elise McGhee propelled the Bears to their seventh win of the season.

Men's Basketball

After transferring to Baylor from Brigham Young University before the 2022-23 season, junior forward Caleb Lohner had his first game playing back at altitude. Lohner recorded his best game as a Bear and propelled the green and gold to a 74-56 win over UC Santa Barbara in the round of 64 on Friday in the Ball Arena in Denver.

While both Baylor men’s basketball and women’s basketball are ranked No. 7 and are gearing up to play conference rival Texas Christian University on Saturday, their mindsets going into the contests couldn’t be more different.
