Men's Basketball

Despite freshman center Yves Missi putting on a show good enough for Broadway, the Bears left Madison Square Garden with a bitter taste in their mouths on Wednesday night.
Headlined by alley-oop finishes and 25-foot 3-pointers, No. 6 Baylor men’s basketball came away with win No. 400 at the Ferrell Center by a score of 78-60 over Seton Hall on Tuesday night as part of the Big East-Big 12 Battle.
Scott Drew has coached 661 games as the head coach of the Baylor Bears, but even he has foes he hasn’t faced. Drew and No. 6 Baylor men’s basketball will face Seton Hall for the first time at 8 p.m. on Tuesday in the Ferrell Center. The clash comes as part of the Big East-Big 12 Battle.
Women's Basketball
Former Baylor women’s basketball star Brittney Griner has officially been released from Russian custody and is on the way to the United States, according to multiple reports.
Starting off the season strong, No. 21 Baylor women’s basketball’s freshman forward Bella Fontleroy averages 6.7 rebounds and 10 points per game, making her presence known on the court.
This fall has been hard for the Bears, as many players have been hit with injuries. Nonetheless, the team will continue to work together moving forward.
Equestrian
Baylor equestrian took two important wins over No. 7 TCU and defending national champion and top-ranked Georgia on Friday and Saturday at the Willis Family Equestrian Center to stay perfect on the season.
No. 4 Baylor equestrian took a close 9-7 decision over No. 2 Oklahoma State on Saturday afternoon, winning its first Big 12 contest of the season at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.
No. 6 Baylor equestrian took home its sixth straight Willis Invitational title Saturday after it defeated University of Tennessee-Martin, Fresno State, and Southern Methodist University at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.
Tennis
Lah and Bass are continuing to improve their chemistry as doubles partners as the season progresses.
Baylor women’s tennis gave all they could, being the first team to score a point on Texas this season.
In a back-and-forth battle, the Baylor women’s tennis program dropped a close one to the Trojans, a match that went down to the final singles match.
Golf
The Baylor men’s golf team will compete in its fifth tournament of the season at the Insperity Augusta State Invitational in Augusta, Ga., at the Forest Hills Golf Club. The tournament will be hosted by Augusta State University and will be played all day on Saturday and Sunday.
The Baylor men’s golf team will head to Goodyear, Ariz., for the Desert Shootout for the first time in program history. The tournament will be played today through Saturday at the Palm Valley Golf Course and will also be the Bears’ first out-of-state tournament of the spring.
The Baylor men’s golf team is back in action with the Bayou City Collegiate Championships in Humble, Texas. The tournament will run from today through Sunday as Baylor looks to continue its successful season.
Six Baylor golfers will be making the trip, including sophomore Filippo Zucchetti, freshman Andreas Gjesteby, sophomore Mikkel Bjerch-Andresen, sophomore Niclas Mansson, senior Matthew Seligmann, senior Ryan O’ Rear, and sophomore Kyle Jones who won last week’s UTSA Oak Hills Invitational.
