Baylor baseball dropped the final two contests of a three-game series to Kansas following a blowout win on Friday night that marked the first time Baylor baseball had a .500 record since February 2023. The Bears fell in the series finale by a score of 12-2 on Sunday afternoon at Baylor Ballpark.
Junior right-handed pitcher Aliyah Binford and sophomore right-handed pitcher RyLee Crandall only allowed one Knights run across three contests.
“I thought overall, our kids competed really well, considering, because it could be like this at Big 12s, it could be like this especially at nationals, in Oregon,” Ford said. “It could be this kind of weather. But I thought overall, our kids did well.”
As Baylor football finished its spring camp with a Green & Gold practice, the walls within the Allison Indoor Facility echoed with excitement and optimism on Saturday.
