Texas Rep. Ron Paul said Wednesday he has no plans to drop out of the Republican presidential race, despite the fact that he is way behind in last place in the four-man contest.

An expert on America’s relationship with China will give the annual lecture for the Laura Blanche Jackson Endowed Memorial Lectureship in World Issues at 7 p.m. in the Paul W. Powell Chapel of George W. Truett Theological Seminary.

Tickets will be available to purchase at the door for $5, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to Scott and White Research foundation in Temple.
