Nicki Collen picked up her 100th win as the head coach of the second-seeded Bears as her team led for 38 1/2 minutes. The green and gold turned the seventh-seeded Cyclones over 22 times which led to 20 points off turnovers and countered sophomore center Audi Crooks’ 32-point outburst.
“Our scientists and researchers are really on the right track, and it’s a blessing to be a part of that,” Romo said.
“As students get to college, they all ask the question, ‘Who am I, who are my people and where do I belong?’” Jose Vallejo, assistant director for Collegiate Recovery said. “We tend to attach ourselves to certain groups and situations where we feel validated, accepted, loved and valued, and at times, those situations can involve substance misuse, especially in the college culture.”
With spring break starting this weekend, Baylor students are gearing up for an escape — but having fun doesn’t have to mean breaking the bank.

“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”

Texas voters turned out in historic numbers Tuesday, delivering victories for State Rep. James Talarico and forcing a runoff between Attorney General Ken Paxton and incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the state’s U.S. Senate contest that claimed national attention. The total early-voting turnout of more than 2.5 million marks the highest ever for a midterm primary election. The results also kicked off the 2026 midterm cycle.
