Baylor’s Model United Nations team represented Switzerland at the 2025 National Model United Nations, New York Week B Conference last month and took home the highest possible distinction — Outstanding Delegation. The team, made up of 16 undergraduate students, created resolutions to global issues with the help of research and effective public speaking.
While Lillie Walker has been a key component during the softball season, she has also enjoyed the shift to Waco and the ability to explore the city.
Although Baylor football didn’t have a player selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, five former Bears signed their first pro contracts as undrafted free agents. Two others landed minicamp invites.
The former Bearcat averaged 9.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in three seasons in Cincinnati.

“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”
