After a historic approval of the House v. NCAA settlement was inked on Monday, the pen continued writing history with the introduction of a new bill in the House of Representatives that has the potential to change the trajectory of college athletics forever.

For the first time this season, Baylor baseball is hitting the road on the heels of a homestand with a losing record.

Stringing together hits and defensive miscues by UTSA, Baylor softball’s offense drove in six runs in the first three innings, pushing them past the Roadrunners 6-0 on Wednesday at Getterman Stadium.

“We’re losing generations that believe in the Constitution and understand the foundations of our system of government,” Wendy May-Dreyer, the head of iCivics, a civic education nonprofit, said. “That, no doubt, plays into not appreciating things like the rule of law and why separation of powers goes away if you don’t have that kind of ability.”
