The Grammys are just around the corner, and anticipation is building to see who will take home the awards this year. With an incredible lineup of songs and artists in the mix, let’s dive into my predictions for three major categories: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.

At the Central Texas Marketplace, a strip center near Highway 6 and Interstate 35, Baylor students have encountered a sea of black, rustling feathers while shopping and dining out.
Over the weekend, vandals in Oakwood Cemetery caused up to $200,000 worth of damage to historic graves. The defaced monuments included those of former Texas Gov. Richard Coke and Madison Cooper, author of the best-selling novel “Sironia, Texas.” According to police, the damage was done between 9 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.

The Arthritis Foundation will hold its 23rd annual Jingle Bell Walk for Arthritis event Dec. 8 at Cameron Park Zoo in downtown Waco.
This nationwide event, created to help raise awareness for arthritis, will also raise money for the research, health education and government advocacy to help improve the lives of those living with the condition. Arthritis is America’s leading cause of disability, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Covid-19
“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”

Lilia Gonzalez, director of nurses, said Health Services would remain available to monitor potential measles outbreaks and help students. Though the Texas measles outbreak has ended, Health Services continues providing preventative measures for other potential outbreaks.
