Celebrate the moments you decided to keep studying instead of hanging out with your friends on a random Saturday. Celebrate being present, being persistent and being proud of how far you’ve come — even if you’re still figuring out what’s next.
“We want as many students as possible to be able to engage in meaningful service,” Sarah Walker, senior coordinator for service at Baylor Spiritual Life, said. “It’s a very tangible way of living out your faith.”
Senior forwards led the way for the Bears in a dominant outing, with Bella Fontleroy scoring her 1,000th career point and Darianna Littlepage-Buggs adding a 26-point double-double. The Bears cruised past Le Moyne 99-43 for the Bears’ 24th win in Foster Pavilion.

Spring break is on the horizon. For the Texas Department of Public Safety, this influx of students on the road means trouble.
Starting today, Texas DPS patrols will double in number and focus on high-risk areas at times when crashes are most frequent, according to Texas DPS.
Security cameras donated by Financial Equipment Corp. have been set up in Oakwood Cemetery to increase the security and surveillance of the grounds.
This is a result of the Jan. 26 vandalism of statues and busts in the cemetery caused by multiple vandals. The vandalism cost the cemetery $200,000 in repairs.
A Waco police officer suffered a fractured wrist early Tuesday morning while trying to apprehend what authorities described as a “sword-wielding suspect.”
Steven Walker Webb, 21, was suspected of stealing several items at Discount Smoke Shop, 1402 N. 34th St., including a 4-foot sword, said Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton.
Children’s hospital gets special ambulance
Children ill enough to need a transfer from a local hospital to McLane Children’s Hospital Scott & White in Temple can now take the ride in style.

“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”
