St. Louis junior Ava Janes is starting the Waco Symphony Student Ambassadors, a new organization aimed to provide career advancement for anyone interested in arts management nonprofit organization, and hands-on experience in a professional setting.
“I think especially for the students and interns that work here, we’re kind of told that we are supposed to be like leaders amongst our peers,” Houston sophomore Tan Green said. “[It’s] kind of to help guide people and help us with teaching moments in leadership.”
The NFL is witnessing a growing trend of teams dumping young quarterbacks after only a few seasons. Stories of some of these quarterbacks reviving their careers prove that teams should invest in these players to develop into pro-level passers. The trend also serves as a warning for up-and-coming college quarterbacks.

Texas voters turned out in historic numbers Tuesday, delivering victories for State Rep. James Talarico and forcing a runoff between Attorney General Ken Paxton and incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the state’s U.S. Senate contest that claimed national attention. The total early-voting turnout of more than 2.5 million marks the highest ever for a midterm primary election. The results also kicked off the 2026 midterm cycle.
