Baylor’s Women and Gender Studies Program hosted the ninth annual Boundary Breaking Women’s Panel to highlight the lives and stories of women on Monday.
Home to 330 Baylor students enrolled in one of the Honors College’s programs or majors, the Honors Residential College is a multiyear community known on campus for its assortment of traditions.
“Over the years, we’ve seen changes, but it’s still Collins,” Gould said. “I think it’ll always be Collins. It’ll always be the hotspot. It’ll be the new and improved Collins, but the legacy is still there.”
Baylor designed the faculty-in-residence and resident chaplain programs to help students grow in their faith. However, some faculty and chaplains said the programs have helped them as much as they have helped students.

Texas voters turned out in historic numbers Tuesday, delivering victories for State Rep. James Talarico and forcing a runoff between Attorney General Ken Paxton and incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the state’s U.S. Senate contest that claimed national attention. The total early-voting turnout of more than 2.5 million marks the highest ever for a midterm primary election. The Iran war is now in its 46th day. Iran responded by restricting access to Hormuz, which carries about a fifth of the world’s seaborne oil, and moving to toll vessels transiting the strait. The White House said the campaign is aimed at dismantling Iran’s military and toppling its government.
