Multicultural Affairs hosts a book club each semester, beginning a couple of years ago. The Bookclub consists of three to four, hour-long evening sessions within a semester in which participants discuss the current book, chosen through student interest by voting on Instagram.

The Baylor Student Court ruled to overturn the Student Senate restructuring petition after the bill initially failed last month. The bill was intended to restructure the composition of the Senate from division by grade classification to division by academic college so as to encourage more representation and diversity within Senate.
Student Senate campaigns have commenced for this spring. The campaigning process requires candidates to fill out the student government filing form and attend a mandatory candidate meeting before engaging with the student body.

Student senators advocate for restructuring the Student Senate to diversify and increase representation, soliciting signatures from the student body to accomplish their goal. The restructure plan divides the Senate’s 52 senators into specified areas rather than solely grade classifications. The petition incorporates the student body into active participation with an objective of Student Government.
