Baylor athletes win eight event titles while sharing the track with multiple olympians

The Baylor Invitational was held Saturday at the Clyde Hart Track and Field Stadium, where a total of 70 Baylor athletes were listed to compete among 13 other schools from across the nation, also including former Baylor athletes Trayvon Bromell and Jeremy Wariner.

Despite weather conditions costing the Baylor track team a few events and delays, the Bears managed to rack up several Top 10 finishes this past weekend at the 89th Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin.
Baylor’s track and field team collected 11 event titles, earned several top NCAA rankings and broke a few school records this past weekend during its second outdoor meet of the season at the Parks West Athletic Complex last weekened in San Antonio. The meet spanned a total of three days as decathletes opened on Thursday with sophomore Hunter Powell and junior Chase Hood finishing third and fourth, respectively.
