    At a Glance: Baylor athletics’ weekend schedule

    Here’s a quick look forward to this weekend’s action for Baylor athletics.

    Baylor baseball underway

    Baylor baseball starts its 2015 season with a home three-game series against No. 13 Cal Poly. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. on Friday, with additional games at 3 p.m. Saturday and noon on Sunday at Baylor.

    Women’s basketball ready for revenge

    No. 3 Baylor WBB will look to extend its 22-game winning streak with a game against West Virginia at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Ferrell Center. WVU broke Baylor’s 35-game home winning streak last season.

    Women’s tennis returns home

    After traveling to play Rice on Friday, the No. 6 Lady Bears will return home to face off against No. 14 Clemson at noon on Sunday at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center.

    ROAD GAMES

    Men’s basketball marquee matchup

    Baylor men’s basketball puts its Big 12 record on the line as it travels to Lawrence, Kan., to face No. 8 Kansas at noon on Sunday at the vaunted Allen Fieldhouse. The game will be broadcast live on CBS.

    Softball warming up

    Baylor softball will travel to Natchitoches, La., to participate in the Northwestern State University Demon Invitational. The Bears will face off against Jackson State at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Northwestern State at 4:30 p.m. and the same teams against at 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.

    Baylor equestrian preps for heavyweight opponent

    No. 1 Baylor equestrian will travel to Fort Worth to take on No. 2 TCU on Saturday. The Bears will look to continue their 10-meet winning streak, which included an 11-8 win over TCU on Oct. 24 in Waco.

    Tennis to play in ITA Indoor Championships

    No. 10 Baylor men’s tennis will face off against No. 6 Duke on Friday in the 2015 ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Chicago, Ill. The tournament takes place between Friday and Monday. Baylor won the whole event in 2005.
