    Latin Dance Night | Sept. 17 | 6:30– 9 p.m. | 700 Austin Ave. | Free | Latino 93.5 will be providing music for this family-friendly event that includes food, prizes and more.

    Howdy! Hosted by Pi Beta Phi and BAC | Sept. 17 | 7-10 p.m. | Fountain Mall | Free | Come out to this campus-wide event that will feature live music, line dancing, a petting zoo, Ferris wheel and much more.

    Silent Disco Yoga | Sept. 17 | 7-9 p.m. | Cultivate 7Twelve | $30 | Cultivate 7Twelve hosts its Silent Disco Yoga that will include an hour of Yoga flow and then an hour of additional silent disco vibe. Bring a yoga mat and water for this event. The class size is limited to 15 participants.

    Baylor Symphonic Band performance | Sept. 17 | 7:30 p.m. | Jones Concert Hall | Free | Come out and support Baylor’s 66-member symphonic band as they perform at Jones Concert Hall. The event will be livestreamed at the concert time for those who choose to enjoy it virtually.

    SATURDAY

    Waco’s Downtown Farmers Market | Sept. 18 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Courthouse Parking Lot, 500 Washington Ave. | Free | An assortment of local vendors that provide products such as produce, meats and greenery.

    Makers and Creatives Market | Sept. 18 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Free | Support dozens of local vendors through this downtown market, hosted by Rogue Media Studios.

    Oktoberfest at Barnett’s | Sept. 18 | Noon – 7 p.m. | Barnett’s Public House | Free | An afternoon full of games, music, food, drinks and much more at Barnett’s Oktoberfest Day of Games.

    Outside Mullingar | Sept. 18 | 7:30-9:30 p.m. | Waco Civic Theatre | Tickets range from $18- $20 | Come out and see this phenomenal play that was previously on Broadway.

    Seven Short Films About (Our) Marriage premiere | Sept. 18 | 8-9:30 p.m. | Brotherwell Brewing | Don’t miss the premiere of this short filmed that was shot in Waco by a Baylor professor.

    SUNDAY

    Eastside Market Fall Fest | Sept. 19 | Noon – 5 p.m. | Free | Celebrate the beginning of fall with over 40 local vendors, music, food trucks and more.

    Mission Waco’s 15th Annual Walk for the Homeless | Sept. 19 | 7:45 a.m. | Starting at 1226 Washington Ave. (Mission Waco’s Meyer Center) and ending at Church Under the Bridge (Magnolia Silos) | Free | Join Mission Waco in its mile-long walk to educate and advocate about the issues surrounding homelessness.

    Painting with a Twist: Plant Lover | Sept. 19 | 2-4 p.m. | 1621 N Valley Mills Drive | $40 | Do you love plants? If the answer to that question was yes, then you will love this weekend’s painting at Painting with a Twist.
