The game was halted for a half-hour lightning delay, momentarily accompanied by AC/DC’s Thunderstruck playing over the PA system.

Furthermore, the delay prompted both schools to agree to a one-minute media halftime and two 12-minute quarters to end the game without a weather issue.

Heisman candidate and junior quarterback Robert Griffin III has thrown for 198 yards and three touchdowns along with his 82 rushing yards.

Senior running back Terrance Ganaway has rushed for 44 yards and junior running back Jarred Salubi has rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown.

Senior receiver Kendall Wright has 98 yards on five receptions and a touchdown. With the 66-yard touchdown, Wright tied a school record with 19 career receiving touchdowns.

The Bears have outgained the Lumberjacks 354-198. The Baylor defense has allowed SFA to get close but kept the offense from scoring. The defense stopped a 4th-and-1 conversion attempt on the first drive, and then junior safety Mike Hicks intercepted a pass the Baylor 9-yard line.

On the next drive, sophomore linebacker Brody Trahan forced a fumble on the Baylor 4 that was recovered by senior nose tackle Nicolas Jean-Baptiste.
