Baylor Baseball defeats Oklahoma 7-0

The Baylor baseball team fell to the OU 11-3 on Friday, but the next day the Bears bounced back.

With the help of Head Coach Steve Rodriguez, getting the win over Oklahoma was a walk in the “Baylor Ballpark” for these boys.

The Bears walked away on Saturday with a win of 7-0.

This was the bears 5th shutout of this season. The first time that has happened in 23 games of the season since 1995.

Baylor’s 15-2 start through 17 games is tied for its best in program history. That was started back in 1990 and in 1961.

Baylor will play Oklahoma one more time on Sunday at 12:05 p.m. at the Baylor Ballpark.

Next, Baylor’s baseball team will go up against UTSA at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday on campus.
