After a bye week, the Baylor track and field teams are refueled and ready to compete in the Texas A&M Aggie Invitational.

For the second time this season, the Bears will travel to College Station to run the lanes of the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium. The Texas A&M Aggie Invitational began this morning and will conclude Saturday evening.

Last year, the Lady Bears lost someone many called the ultimate post player. Brittney Griner entered the 2013 WNBA draft, marking the end of an era, but the beginning of another in Baylor women’s basketball.

FORT WORTH — The NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Texas is going to the ducks this spring.

Texas Motor Speedway on Thursday announced a three-year title sponsorship agreement for its spring race with Duck Commander, the brand of best-selling duck calls and Robertson family-owned company featured on the A&E show “Duck Dynasty.” The deal is for the spring race at the track.

Baylor football announced Wednesday its high school Class of 2014 football signing class. Nineteen freshmen and four junior college transfers signed their National Letter of Intent to play at Baylor.

The Baylor men’s tennis team includes 11 talented tennis players who have collectively started off the season 4-0 to earn a No. 6 ranking. Among these players is sophomore Julian Lenz. Julian has represented Baylor both on and off the tennis court as a student-athlete who does what it takes to succeed.

Lady Bears head coach Kim Mulkey admits she did not have a complete idea of how her team would do this season.

With only one returning starter and the majority of the current team being freshmen, Mulkey knew she needed a couple of players to step up for the team, regardless of their age or experience.

This is how the entire season has felt for Baylor, isn’t it?

Baylor had all the opportunity in the world. They brought the lead down to three with 12:56 left in the game. They had three free throws to bring it to three again, all of which they missed. But at the end of the day, the Bears (14-8, 2-7) could not capitalize on their chances in a 69-52 loss to No. 8 Kansas (17-5, 8-1) at home.
