Although the Bears (3-4, 1-3 Big 12) snapped a nine-game losing streak against Big 12 schools with their 59-35 win over Texas Tech out of the bye week, against the Cowboys (3-4, 0-4 Big 12) the green and gold will have another gnarly losing streak to snap. Since the 2021 Big 12 Championship season, Baylor has only won one game against an in-conference foe at home – a 35-23 homecoming win over Kansas on Oct. 22, 2022.
Bring back the golden helmets that light up the field. Add bear claws that were once stamped on the shoulder pads. Baylor’s uniform tradition is rich and storied, and the program would do well to dust off its old threads.
Cameron’s seven touchdown receptions this season are the most of any Baylor receiver since Tyquan Thornton in 2021. He’s on pace to become the Bears’ first-ever walk-on with double-digit receiving touchdowns in a season. It’s history in the making for the Big 12’s most electric walk-on.
The stakes, scraping the tile for the better part of two seasons, have been cranked back up to 10. Every game matters, and on Saturday, the Bears played like it. The vibes were high; the intensity was even higher. If they keep it up, the Bears should finish with a winning record — and on a high note — for the first time since 2021.

Baylor cross country closed out the regular season at the Arturo Barrios invitational in College Station, Texas on Friday, with the women securing an 18th place finish and the men receiving 29th.

Men's Basketball
In the final home opener in Ferrell Center history, No. 20 Baylor men’s basketball saw 11 different players record points — including four in double figures — as it took down John Brown 96-70 on Thursday afternoon.

Equestrian
Baylor acrobatics and tumbling team (2-2) will face an undefeated Oregon, Saturday at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas at 6:30 p.m.
The No. 5 Baylor equestrian team suffered two losses during the weekend, dropping its record to 8-5. The Bears fell 11-9 to No. 7 Kansas State University and 11-7 to No. 4 Oklahoma State University. Both meets were on the road for the Bears.
“We went into these meets knowing they were an uphill battle, but I am still pleased with our performance,” head coach Ellen White said.
Baylor acrobatics and tumbling fell to Quinnipiac by a .56 margin on Sunday afternoon in the TD Banks Sports Center in Hamden, Conn.
Tennis
Baylor battled wire-to-wire on a hot Sunday afternoon to beat the Horned Frogs in the Big 12 Tournament semifinal at the Hurd Center.
The Bears were swept by the Longhorns as they battled for the Big 12 Tournament title Sunday at the Hurd Tennis Center.
Women’s tennis will play against Iowa State in the semifinal after a 4-1 win over TCU.
Golf
Walking around a golf course on a beautiful day, you might hear Taylor Swift overflowing from a pair of headphones.
Women’s golf, ranked 23rd, barely missed winning their third consecutive tournament, placing second Tuesday for their last tournament of the fall season at the Alamo Invitational in San Antonio. Men’s golf, ranked 28th, finished sixth at the fourth annual Royal Oaks Intercollegiate at the Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas.
Men’s golf, which is ranked 18th, finished fifth Tuesday at the Lone Star Invitational in San Antonio, and senior Joakim Mikkelsen finished second.
