Men's Basketball
The Foster Pavilion has officially opened, and the energy from fans in the new arena has been electric. The Baylor Bear Pit, which consists of cheering students, has been at the forefront of it all for both the men’s and women’s basketball programs.

Tennis
With a 4-3 victory over Mississippi State on Sunday and a 6-1 win against Southern Methodist University on Friday, Baylor women’s tennis takes two wins at home.
Baylor men’s tennis wins their second ranked match within the last two days defeating the University of Virginia 4-2.
After defeating Incarnate Word and Idaho State at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center on Sunday, Baylor men’s tennis won its 44th straight doubleheader, displaying depth as they continue to build team chemistry.
Golf
The Baylor men’s golf team placed second at the UTSA Oak Hills Invitational in San Antonio that ended on Tuesday.
As a team, the Bears shot 29-over-par 881 to finish five-strokes behind fellow Big 12 opponent Oklahoma. This marks the fourth time, in six tournaments this season that Baylor has finished in the top 3. It is the highest finish in a tournament field of more than 12 teams. Head coach Greg Priest said he could not have been more proud of his team.
The Baylor women’s golf team finished in seventh place at the Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif. As a team, they shot a 32-over-par 884, including 15-over-par 299 performance in the final round.
The Lady Bears finished the first round of the tournament in the lead with a score of 286. Baylor head coach Jay Goble said what started as a good week quickly turned upside down.
The Baylor men’s golf team participated in the Big 12 Men’s Golf Championship in Hutchinson, Kan., at the Prairie Dunes Country Club this week.
The Bears finished sixth overall, shooting 55-over-par with a total score of 895.
The Bears joined a field of eight other Big 12 schools that included every school in the conference except West Virginia.
