Women's Basketball

No. 6 seed Baylor is set to face a new challenge against No. 11 seed Nebraska/Richmond in the first round. The Bears’ matchup is also adjacent to Duke, whom they defeated in the season opener.

Equestrian
In front of a home crowd excited for the beginning of the season, the Bears delivered a dominating performance against the traveling South Dakota State Jackrabbits with a 14-3 victory.
With an off week under its belt, Baylor Equestrian looks ahead to a road matchup against Oklahoma state. The meet will take place at the Pedigo-Hull Equestrian Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma on Friday at noon.
Baylor Equestrian capped off its preseason schedule Sunday afternoon with a near-perfect overall performance in a scrimmage against Tarleton State, winning 19-1.
Tennis
No. 19 Baylor men’s tennis upset No. 8 Texas A&M on Monday night in a back-and-forth match that saw four singles matches go to a third set.
The Bears lost 4-1 in Fort Worth on Thursday. Senior Zsombor Velcz scored the team’s lone point in singles play.
Many aspiring tennis players dream of playing at Center Court. While it may not be under the lights of a Grand Slam, junior Devin Badenhorst welcomed the privilege and responsibility that comes with playing on Court One for No. 20 Baylor men’s tennis.
Golf
In the midst of the fall season Men’s and Women’s golf are finding the right momentum.
Silje Ohma is one of the best golfers in Baylor history. She enters her final season looking to forge a national legacy.
Baylor men’s golf head coach Mike McGraw is one of the most decorated coaches in the nation. Hoisting three national championships and 21 championship appearances throughout his career, McGraw has brought a “leave it better” mentality and image of success to Waco.

The Big 12’s back-to-back leading rebounder went with the 30th pick in Monday’s WNBA Draft. She is the Bears’ fifth draft pick under head coach Nicki Collen and the second signed by Collen.
