The Baylor Bears lost their fifth game of the season at the hands of the Kansas State Wildcats by a score of 57-56 at the Ferrell Center on Saturday. This loss is their third in four games.
Angel Rodriguez had 15 points and six assists and Kansas State made up for the freshman’s potentially costly turnover in the final seconds as the Wildcats held on for a 57-56 victory at No. 9 Baylor on Saturday.
The Baylor Bears will look to sweep the Kansas State Wildcats at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday at the Ferrell Center.
Women's Basketball
The point guards duked it out to the final buzzer as No. 3 Baylor’s Odyssey Sims notched 37 points to get the better of senior Danielle Robinson and No. 16/15 Oklahoma 82-81 Sunday afternoon in Norman.
Oklahoma had the Lady Bears hanging on by the skin of their teeth as they overcame a six-point halftime deficit.. No. 3 Baylor was led by No. 0 freshman Odyssey Sims’ 37 points on nine of 12 three-pointers.
The Big 12’s No. 2 and No. 3 leading scorers face off for the second time this season as the No. 3 Lady Bears travel to Norman, Okla., to take on the No. 15/16 Oklahoma Sooners.
