On Tuesday evening, the Hankamer School of Business hosted a private pre-screening of CBS’ show “Undercover Boss” in Waco Hall with The Dwyer Group CEO Dina Dwyer-Owens, who participated in the show. Other contributors from the show were also in attendance.

A student-run Christian organization, I Am Second, launched at Baylor Tuesday.
“Why me” is a phrase not found in the vocabulary of freshman Quincy Miller. During his high school career he had three close family members pass away. His senior season was lost due to an ACL tear in early December. Though these storm clouds loomed about him, Miller found the perspective needed to rise above.

“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”

MSPL follows the model “Pray, Stay, Raise and Go” when facing disasters, according to Sarah Walker, BearAid senior coordinator for service. Directly following the disaster, BearAid stays in Waco, allowing first responders to do their jobs and praying for those affected. Now, BearAid and MSPL are in the raise phase.
