Students, faculty and staff gathered Wednesday evening to listen to minority students speak about their experiences at Baylor. This sit-in was in response to BUPD being called on Black students studying in Moody Memorial Library.
While the pandemic has altered many activities on campus, serving and being a light are core points of the Baylor mission and the Missions and Public Life Department has found ways to keep that going on.
Online classes have led to more Baylor students having change-of-major conversations with advisors, expert suggests.

MSPL follows the model “Pray, Stay, Raise and Go” when facing disasters, according to Sarah Walker, BearAid senior coordinator for service. Directly following the disaster, BearAid stays in Waco, allowing first responders to do their jobs and praying for those affected. Now, BearAid and MSPL are in the raise phase.
