“[Our goal] is to help students be as successful as possible and really feel welcome within our residential communities,” Rob Engblom, associate director for resident learning at Campus Living and Learning, said.

Beginning in May 2022, Collins Residence Hall will be renovated as part of the master plan for campus residence hall renovations. The $38.5 million project is scheduled to be completed in July 2023.

While the bears may no longer go to games or drink Dr Pepper, alumni and current students alike hold a shared connection to Baylor’s live mascots. These days, Joy and Lady reside at the Bill and Eva Williams Bear Habitat.

Baylor Student Government hosted the Big XII Student Government Conference from Sept. 16 to Sept. 18, with representatives from the student governments of each of the Big XII schools traveling to Waco to collaborate and discuss ongoing campus procedures and problems.
